Welcome...

Almost all of us experience times in our lives when we feel low. We may be feeling depressed or anxious or experiencing the grief of someone lost to us. There are many issues that affect our psychological well-being, our confidence and the way in which we relate to each other.

Talking to a counsellor can help you to feel listened to and understood. It affords you an opportunity to explore your thoughts and feelings in a confidential and non-judgemental setting. Counselling can help you to make sense of your past, re-evaluate your present and conceptualise a future you can look forward to and work towards.

The aim of counselling will be different for each person but the hope is that you will gain a greater sense of well-being in your life, improve your sense of autonomy and be able to live your life more happily and resourcefully.

“The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change.” Carl Rogers.
